IFA 2024 has officially open up its doors to the public , marking the100th anniversaryof the iconic upshot . Hundreds of consumer electronics brand name will be at the show — including Samsung , Acer , and Lenovo — and it ’s shaping up to be another big year for the convention . I was invite to preview the sprawl IFA land ahead of its commencement , and while much was still under mental synthesis , IFA 100 Years : The Exhibitionwas largely complete . That ’s where I stumble upon the Karcher RC 3000 — a golem vacuum from 2003 that served as a precursor to many of today ’s most prominent devices .
IFA 100 year : The Exhibition expect back at fundamental innovations in the consumer electronics diligence . From gaming and radio to video and home gizmo , it captures fundamental bit that shaped our digital spirit over the past 10 decennium . And while you ’ll find good deal of innovative devices in The expo , the Karcher RC 3000 is undoubtedly one of the coolest smart rest home product in the showcase .
The Karcher RC 3000 was first launched in 2003 . It was n’t the first - ever golem vacuum ( many arrived in the tardy 1990s ) , but its unique docking station allowed it to run autonomously much longer than the rivalry . This give it the ability to vacuum base and bank its junk into a reservoir settle on the dock , much like the robots you ’ll find on computer memory shelves today .
